The essence of this house is proposed as an evolution of Yucatecan traditions and is reflected in a contemporary way and according to the current context. The project is developed on a lot located in Santa Gertrudis Copó, an area of high added value and growth north of Merida. All the spaces were designed to take advantage of the sunlight and natural ventilation according to the orientation of the lot. The outdoor terrace is adorned with local stone and overlooks a generous pool that reminds us of the abundant crystalline cenotes in Yucatan. The materials used are of natural and handcrafted origin, typical of the region, such as chukum and masonry.

The first level of this house features a double-height foyer, a large kitchen with island breakfast bar and pantry with granite countertops, living and dining room with double view to the garden, half bathroom for visitors, covered terrace, maid's quarters with full bathroom, storage room, service yard with private access, swimming pool of 6x2m illuminated with swimming channel covered in chukum, semi-covered garage for two vehicles with stamped concrete floor and front garden area.

On the second level, you will find the master bedroom overlooking the garden, with a walk-in closet, double sink, and large en-suite bathroom, a second and third bedroom overlooking the interior garden, with a walk-in closet and full bathroom.
